Pleated net? Here is why polyester is the best choice for your insect screen
I have never been a salesman and I don’t think I will ever be one…
I only aspire to be an engineer specialised in polyester pleated nets, not a sales shark.
I don’t wish to brag, but this is my honest way of saying that I don’t always have the ideal solution.
I admit it, often I tell my potential customer:
“Let’s stop right here, I don’t have the best product for you… No hard feelings!”
It has happened in the past and it could happen again in the future.
I may not have the best solution for a pleated insect screen manufacturer who is looking for a different net.
Unlike fabric salesmen I like to describe myself as an engineer.
This is because once I made a promise to Sergio, the big boss, an enlightened entrepreneur who said NO to selling all kinds of fabric and decided to specialise in one type of net only:
polyester pleated net!
Sit back and relax, I’ll tell you the quick story about Sergio and why he decided to use only polyester for his pleated nets.
How an entrepreneur proved to be the worst salesman in history
Back in 2004, Sergio invented and patented a unique pleated insect screen.
Can you imagine having in mind a product that can transform your company and make all your worries and nightmares, involving bills, deadlines and suppliers, disappear for good?
This is what happened to Sergio.
He created a pleated insect screen that now is sold in over 30 countries across the world.
- In 4 continents
- In Australia
- In Brazil
- In Germany
However, the story doesn’t focus on this insect screen, but on the journey from designing.
